Penguin Home PC, a computer repair business based in Waterford has broken new ground in being one of the first to open a Facebook store. The store stocks equipment and accessories for PCs, Laptops and iPhones. The Penguin target market has always been family home computer users who are also fanatic Facebook users. As owner Daniel Scannell (pictured) said: ‘We were already a part of our customers' online social circle so we decided to offer them deals that were exclusive to them using Facebook. We are an expert computer service but we love doing fun things and social media lets us do exactly that!'
Penguin Home PC set the standard last year when they announced their ‘Free Call Out' service where customers only paid a fixed price for their computer repair. It seems they have done it again this year with their new Facebook store.
The store works in a very unique way. When fans are shopping in the new store they have control over the deal. If they ‘Like' the product, they receive a discount. If they ‘Share' the product, they receive an even bigger discount. This is a very viral method where happy fans share product deals with their friends and get rewarded for doing so. It's a win win situation for everyone.
The Penguin Team can be contacted anytime at 085-1660880 for any questions.
