Now that the Winter is beginning to make itself known it is up to everyone who uses the roads to ensure that they do so with the upmost safety in mind. With darker mornings and evenings people should be more aware of their surroundings when driving and of course never ever drink and drive which although not so socially acceptable as it once was still unfortunately happens. Also it should be as socially unacceptable to use a phone while you are driving. Anything that takes your attention as a driver off the roads is not going to make you a safe driver and at the end of the day that is all that is being asked of people. To drive in a responsible manner should be like second nature, as easy as putting on a safety belt while driving. With Winter upon us and the result of the roads being that more treacherous it behoves us all to make the driving experience as safe as we can.
