The Tramore Area Community Forum is holding a meeting for Community Groups, Clubs, and Societies from the Tramore area on Monday March 8th in the Coastguard Station, Tramore at 7.30pm. The meeting will follow up on progress made on addressing issues raised at the previous Community Forum Meeting in late 2009.
The meeting will have three main elements:
l Group Insurance Scheme: BHP Insurances will give a presentation on their Group Insurance Scheme for Community Groups, Clubs and Societies. BHP are providing insurance to Community Forum members for up to 56% less than Commercial Insurers.
l Tramore Community Radio will give an overview of their plans for a Community Radio Station for Tramore, and there will be a discussion on how local clubs and societies can improve their communications.
l Community Forum Executive Report: The Community Forum Executive will report on their activities in the previous three months, including the taking over of the day-to-day running of the Coastguard.
The Meeting will enable local groups to network with each other and to highlight issues which they would like the Forum to address on their behalf. Representatives from all community groups, clubs and societies that are operating in the Tramore area are invited to attend.
