The first stage in the launch of the new Urban Hype Hair Studio Concept, developed by Eddie and Dervla Mulligan, has just taken place. This involved the creation of the new blow-dry-bar hair menu which was captured in an on location photo shoot by award winning local photographer, Mr Gerry O' Carroll.
Urban Hype will be an inspired unisex hair studio that will revel in meeting the needs of its younger target market in a cool electric warehouse styled building. Managed by Dawn O'Sullivan, and boasting a line up of accredited and acclaimed hair artists supported by a team of young senior trainees, the Urban Hype will offer traditional technical styles combined with freestyle creative cutting, colouring using hand picked products created for the younger generation in an environment they are comfortable with. Urban Hype is about the latest trends that suits you.
Among the new concepts being offered are an online Hair Menu and booking facility, a new Blow-Dry-Bar concept, which will be available for group bookings as a starting point for your party nite, artistic styling and cutting, creative hair & make up tips, cat walk colour trends for guys, Cover Girl looks and on location session appointments.
Urban Hype will be the first Waterford hair studio to use Tigi Colour and the Urban Culture range of styling products. Whilst enjoying their services customers can relax with, Games Station, PSP's, Playstation with latest games and films etc, Wi-Fi, Internet Access with web cam links to social sites MySpace, Bebo and Facebook, a Juke Box linked to plasma Screens and DJ play lists, ground floor coffee / smoothie / juice bar,all delivered in a late night atmosphere.
