    Caring for pets with arthritis

The term "arthritis" means inflammation of a joint, but it is commonly used in a broader sense to refer to degenerative disease of the joints that causes pain and reduces your pets mobility. The most common type of arthritis in dogs and cats is osteoarthritis, which is also known as Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD), and is the result of excessive wear and tear on the joints. Aries: March 21 - April 20

Try to communicate with important people face to face, or via the written word - making sure that you know those words have been received by the person to whom they were directed. Emails, and text messages are not so reliable and are often misunderstood. So, during this time where comprehension is a little fluid, you will need to take care that your information is getting through to those who need to be in the know.

    Taurus: April 21 - May 21

One thing about this week that you will be delighted to know is; that the positives of it will vastly outweigh the negatives. You might not appreciate that whilst things are going a bit haywire at work, or when the kids stay out later than they had promised, but when all is gathered in, this

Fifty seven years old John Creanen, master of the sailing vessel "Brookelands" stated by counsel to be practically the only one of its kind at present operating between this country and England, appeared at Waterford Court on Wednesday before Judge Sealy as plantiff in an action for £300 damages against Thomas P. Power, the Quay, Waterford.

How the action arose was detailed by his counsel, Mr. Esmonde, B.L. (messrs. Poyntz, Colfer & Sons, New Ross). He said that it arose for personal injuries sustained when his client was involved in an accident which occurred at the Quay, Waterford on the afternoon of the 31st October last. Plaintiff was the captain of the "Brooklands" which plies between Waterford and various small ports in England. It was practically the last vessel of its kind sailing today. On
