Cancer, diabetes, heart disease every day brings new and startling information about the health threats that we face and that are becoming epidemic in our changing world. Dr. Burkitt also noted that as African countries began to develop, and portions of the population began to use a more western type diet, they began to develop Western type disease processes that were previously rare or unknown. Wednesday, 13th February 2008

Nowt to report on what's going to happen with the plethora of Irish festivals that are going to happen this hot and hazy summer (pleeease).

Rumours abound but best not go there just yet. Suffice to say if some of what is being talked about were to occur then bliss would prevail throughout the land. Glastonbury have announced The Verve as their headline act. They are astonishing live and as an original line up would justify that lofty status. Kings Of Leon are the other act announced. I've never seen them live so I can't sit in judgment. Their last appearance at the legendary event was meant to be nothing short of blistering so you gotta suck it and see, don't ya? Jay also headlines?!? I never thought I'd hear meself saying this but Glastonbury is in big danger of
